"The King and I," by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein is a 1951 Broadway musical hit which was also made into a feature film. The musical score offers such classics as "Getting To Know You,", "Hello Young Lovers," "Something Wonderful," and "Shall We Dance." Set in 1860's Bangkok, the musical tells the story of Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher, and the King of Siam, who brings Anna to his homeland to teach his wives and children. The culture clash that develops between them, in time, changes, and their relationship becomes one of respect and understanding.
On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, we will depart via deluxe motorcoach from the parking lot behind the Duane Building on Black River Lane, Lorain at 5:45 PM. At 6:00 PM we will arrive and load at Sheffield Center on Rt. 254 (North Ridge Road), in the parking lot in front of, and directly south of the Buckeye Community Bank. Our approximate arrival time home will be 10:45 PM at Sheffield Center and 11:00 PM at the parking lot behind the Duane Building on Black River Lane.
