DECEMBER 5-8, 2017

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2017: We will depart at 8:00 AM from the pick-up point to be determined.                                                     There will be an early morning rest stop prior to lunch.  Lunch today is on your own at the Pine Grill Restaurant in Somerset, Pennsylvania. We will travel all day and arrive in time to check into the Wingate by Wyndham.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       This evening we will dine at the DUTCH APPLE DINNER THEATER and enjoy a performance of Irving Berlin's "WHITE CHRISTMAS."  

WEDNESDAY, December 6, 2017:  After breakfast, we will travel to the NATIONAL CHRISTMAS CENTER in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.   This museum brings you into the traditions of the holidays from the very first night to the treasured memories of yesterday.  Featured are several exhibits including The First Christmas, Magnificent Train Layout, Pennsylvania Christmas, Santa's Northpole Workshop and much more. For great Pennsylvania Dutch shopping, you won't want to miss our stop at KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE located in Intercourse, Pennsylvania.  Here you will find home-made Lancaster food, fresh baked goods, and so much more.  Lunch will be at the KLING HOUSE RESTAURANT.  The highlight of today will be the production of "THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS" at the SIGHT & SOUND THEATRE.  We'll go back in time to witness the greatest birth in history.  Be surrounded by the bustling village of Bethlehem as camels, horses, donkey and villagers pass by.  Be transported to the hillside where the angels descend upon the shepherds to proclaim that, "The Savior is born!"   This evening will be spent at KOZIAR'S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE.  Enjoy all of the holiday fare including dazzling displays of lights.  Dinner will be on your own in the Village.  Our accommodations for the next two nights will be at the Hyatt Place Bethlehem.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2017:  After breakfast, we will depart for the MORAVIAN MUSEUM OF BETHLEHEM housed in the 1741 Gemeinhaus, the oldest building in the city."    A unique experience awaits us at the HOLIDAY PUTZ TRAIL.   There are several historic sites featuring the Putz, which is a traditional Moravian Christmas decoration.  Offerings include a collection of displays with miniature replicas which depict various settings of the Nativity story. After some late morning shopping on Main Street we will depart for the PINES DINNER THEATRE.  Lunch will be served and afterwards, we will enjoy a performance of "OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS."     Dinner this evening will be a buffet of soup, sandwiches and salad served at the Hyatt Place Bethlehem.  Then we are off on the beautiful BETHLEHEM BY NIGHT TOUR excursion which offers views of the Christmas city from near and far.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2017:  We'll enjoy breakfast and for those who wish there will be an optional church service in the area.   This morning we will experience STEELSTACKS.  We will learn about the original purpose of the Bethlehem Steel structures.  There will be a stop at CHRISTKINDLMARKT, which is one of the top holiday markets in the world and we will also enjoy a special brunch at ARTSQUEST before our departure.  Our dinner stop will be at a rest area and is on your own.   We will arrive back home at approximately 9:30 PM.

* These rooms have two (2) double beds. 
A deposit of $40.00 per person is required with reservations.  Full payment is due by November 7, 2017.
CANCELLATION FEE:  On or before November 7, 2017 - $40.00

                                          Between November 22 and December 5, 2017 - No Refund
