There is a store in Wooster that truly represents its name .EVERYTHING RUBBERMAID. They offer the largest assortment of Rubbermaid products in the world. They have 24,000 square feet of shopping area and they offer an enormous assortment of items that cannot be found anywhere else. Their product line includes Little Tikes, Irwin Tools,
Sharpie, Shurline, Rubbermaid Commercial and a full line of Rubbermaid Home products.
Their store sign says "There is Something for Everyone at Friendtique." And there truly is. FRIENDTIQUE is a thrift store that thrives solely on donations. Their first-floor showroom offers furniture, household items, a small bookstore, vintage items and artwork. The lower level houses a ladies' boutique, which includes beautiful jewelry, and they also have limited men's and children's items. You are sure to find something of interest in this unique venue.
The BROKEN ROCKS CAFΙ & BAKERY plays host to our lunch today. They are best known for their artisan European-style breads which comes from wild yeast from the skins of grapes. Please choose from the following menu items: Chicken Marsala Pasta or Louisiana Shrimp Pasta or Spaghetti and Meatballs. All meals come with a side salad, bread with oil or butter and beverage. You may choose from Belgian Chocolate Custard or Raspberry Crθme Brule for dessert.
After lunch we will visit the MCC CONNECTIONS THRIFT SHOP AND QUILT ROOM. This is an upscale thrift shop which benefits the Mennonite Central Committee's mission throughout the world. You will find bargains in clothing, books, furniture and much more.
We will end our day with a stop at the very popular LEHMAN'S HARDWARE STORE. This store embraces the old-fashioned treats and sodas along with non-electric goods. Also, be sure to check out Jay's antique collection located throughout the store. As you browse the aisles you are sure to reminisce about a time when life was simpler and not so hectic.
On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, we will depart via deluxe motorcoach from the parking lot behind the Duane Building on Black River Lane, Lorain, at 8:15 AM. At 8:30 AM we will arrive and load at Sheffield Center on Rt. 254 (North Ridge Road), in the parking lot of the Buckeye Community Bank. Please park at the southern-most end of the parking lot as close to North Ridge Road as possible. Please do not park in front of the bank. Our approximate arrival time home will be 5:15 PM at Sheffield Center and 5:30 PM at the parking lot behind the Duane Building on Black River Lane.
