TIME FOR AMERICA TO REMEMBER AND HONOR
NATIONAL VETERANS MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM
COLUMBUS, OHIO
TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2019

"There are more than 20 million living veterans throughout the United States, from our Greatest Generation, to our recent heroes coming home from Afghanistan and Iraq.  And yet, there is no single monument or museum dedicated to the Veteran's experience. There are institutions that focus on specific conflicts or branches of service, but there hasn't been a place for us all to join together to celebrate and honor the sacrifice of all of our veterans, past and present…until now."  The NATIONAL VETERANS MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM stands as a place of inspiration for all visitors to come together as one people with a common bond and a shared pride in our veterans.  At the museum we will take a narrative journey telling individual stories and shared experiences of veterans throughout our history.  Our group will enjoy an overview of the museum along with a guided tour of the core exhibit.
MOZART'S is famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else.
We will dine on a garden salad, beef stroganoff or Swiss sautιed chicken, buttered spatzle, fresh market vegetables, and a decadent dessert prepared by their talented pastry chef.

Our experience at the FRANKLIN PARK CONSERVATORY AND BOTANICAL GARDENS consists of botanical biomes, lush gardens, special horticulture and art exhibitions and seasonal offerings.  The collection of glass works by Dale Chihuly is exceptional.  This is a perfect time of year to experience all the wonders Franklin Park has to offer.  Our group will visit the Hot Shop (glass blowing) for a demo, which will be followed by a guided tour.

On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, we will depart via deluxe motorcoach from the parking lot behind the Duane Building on Black River Lane, Lorain at 7:15 AM.  At 7:30 AM we will arrive and load at Sheffield Center on Rt. 254 (North Ridge Road), in the parking lot of the Buckeye Community Bank.  Please park at the southern-most end of the parking lot as close to North Ridge Road as possible.  Please no not park in front of the bank.  Our approximate arrival time home will be 5:45 PM at Sheffield Center and 6:00 PM at the parking lot behind the Duane Building on Black River Lane.
